Why Thailand for your eyes
Dedicated eye hospitals
Bangkok hosts specialised ophthalmic hospitals performing thousands of refractive procedures a year on current-generation platforms.
Candidacy testing first
A full corneal and vision work-up decides whether laser surgery is right for you — and which technique. Not everyone is a candidate, and a good clinic says so.
Meaningful savings
Both eyes for the price of one at home — with no waiting list between decision and surgery.
Typical stay
4 to 6 nights: full eye examination, surgery (both eyes, ~30 minutes), and the day-after and day-three checks before you are cleared to fly. Most patients see clearly within 24–48 hours.
Our partner clinic for this specialty
Our founding partner clinics are being finalised and will be announced by name — with their accreditations — on the Clinics page.
How we select clinics →Common questions
Am I a candidate for LASIK? +
That is decided by the corneal work-up on site — thickness, topography, prescription stability, eye health. If laser is not suitable, the clinic will say so and discuss alternatives like ICL — or advise against surgery entirely. We would rather you fly home untreated than badly treated.
Is it safe to fly after surgery? +
After LASIK, flying is generally cleared at the post-op checks a few days later. The clinic confirms based on your healing — our stay plans include that margin.
What technology do the clinics use? +
Our partner selection requires current-generation femtosecond and excimer platforms and a named surgeon accountable for your procedure. Specific equipment is listed on each clinic’s page.
What follow-up is needed at home? +
Standard checks at one month and beyond can be done by any ophthalmologist at home; you leave with your full surgical record and measurements.
